What exactly ARE Filipinos?
We all know the Filipinos don’t really have an unique culture, religion, food, dress, music, art, et cetera.
Though what puzzles me more is what is your race? People often ask me, in reference to Filipinos, “what race are they?” I’m left puzzled. Certainly not “Asian”.Filipinos have far too much European-American and African-American blood. Not to mention all the Spanish blood, being both European and Hispanic.
The original peoples of the Philippines were the Negritos, from Africa. Which are a breed of Pygmy. Later, the Austronesians arrived. Which I think you mostly are.
There is some Chinese blood in the mix. However, Filipinos share more genes with the aborigines of Taiwan, China, Thailand, and the like.
So what exactly are all ya’ll?

They are Austronesian people, they form a majority of Malaysia and Pacific Islanders peoples, they are still considered asian.
