God’s law ignored my ancestors? Or were the Prophets too lazy?
Just like the indiginous people of Australia my great grandmother was also born under a gum tree – over a hundred and fifty years ago. But outsiders with a written history have only been here for about 200 years… so “time” is impossible (and irrelevant) to guage from verbal history kept by Indigenous People.
We know that the Australian Indigenous community is an ancient one as evidenced for example, by some obviously very old rock art, human remains and artifacts.
I recently suggested that the culture is 40,000 years old (which is the age that scientists have dated some rock art and human remains) but this Muslem guy I was talking to said it could be no older than 5,000 years.
Now if my ancestors from Australia are 5000 years old or 40,000 years old.. the fact is that nobody from Islam or from Christianity came here until 200 years ago… .so if we are all gods children… why then are my ancestors.. .the bulk of them anyway.. all condemned to hell for want of God’s laws?
no. monotheists are full of it.
cherish your people’s ways. they are an important part of humanity’s richness, and so many other treasures have been ruined already.
40,000 to 50,000 is the number I’ve always heard for your people. Some people claim the world is only 6,000 years old, but don’t worry about them. they’re irrelevant.
