When an artist who uses technology creates their work, is God responsible for the creation, or the artist?

For example, the artist below uses a jet engine’s exhaust to hurl paint droplets against a waiting canvas. Although people are responsible for building the airplane, mixing the paint, and in the case of the artist, directing the paint to its target, physical forces created by God are being manipulated to create the artwork.

“The artist will be strapped to a hydraulic platform, approximately 50 feet from the engaged engine, to adequately protect him from the hurricane force winds. As the engine is turned on, he will direct paint at a large reinforced canvas. The heat and velocity of the engine will disperse, blend and weld the paint onto the canvas. “At each production I have a specific vision to combine color and texture,” explains Jurgen. “I choose colors indigenous to the pulse of the people and their cities in which I create, so the art is contextual within its surroundings.”

Who has created the art, God, or the artist?

A very interesting question!

First of all, you Are God, one in many. In reality, there is only right NOW. This is the truth in highest reality. The human mind partitions the NOW into past, present and future. But ultimate reality says that everything IS right NOW. That means, everything has already been created, already been thought of, already been done.

It is all a matter of your awareness. There is nothing to DO. Nothing to learn. Yet, forgetfulness (your ability to only perceive part of highest reality) allows you to experience things one at a time. New ideas or inspirations come from your soul who pulls the ideas from what already IS. It appears in your conscious mind as a “new idea” or “inspiration.” You feel and believe that you thought this thing up, that you originated it as if it never existed…but the fact is, it already exists and you are just now becoming aware of it. Forgetfulness is your tool to re-experience what you already KNOW. So it appears that you have created something, when it has aready been created.

Forgetfulness is a tool you have accepted in order to experience everything again as if it were new.

Therefore, ideas and inspirations are not unique to the individual (the experience of it is, but the concrete fact, is not). All ideas and inspirations are drawn from the collective consciousness of God – sometimes called, the ALL OF EVERYTHING – or simply, the IS.

No one has rightful individual ownership of anything (that is exclusive rights) to anything which they create because all of the ideas and inspirations belong to the collective consciousness of everyone. However, we have deluded ourselves into believing that our “new” ideas are unique and derive from the individual and thus, we write copywrite and patent laws allowing an entity or individual exclusive ownership. We further delude ourselves into believing we have a RIGHT to excusivity when we do not actually have that right – for something which belongs to everyone no matter what the apparent source, cannot be owned by exclusivity.

The truth is, when an individual artist creates a work of art, it is being created by everyone at once, since there is no separation in reality, only UNITY and the ONE. It is just a matter of being aware of that fact.

So to answer your question, God is responsible for everything because all of us collectivey are God! We are, in fact, One and Inseparable. We are all expressions of God Being, thus, you are me and I am you and all of US are ONE.
