Do Asians and Native Americans look alike?
Now, I’ve never actually met a legit Native American before (Mexicans with lots of indigenous ancestry, yes, but no Native Americans from actual reservations and stuff) but I remember a teacher of mine once saying that Native Americans in movies are almost always played by white people who smeared brown paint on their skin and he said real Native Americans look Asian.
Is this true?
<-------Full blooded Anishinaabe Ojibwe. Do I look Asian to you? No? That is probably because NAs did not come from Asia.....We are our own race, indigenous to North America.
*Sorry Jason, clearly having access to wiki has deluded you into thinking you know things about my own culture and people, that I do not. I do not look any more Asian than a White, an Arab or a Black person.......At one time a good majority of people thunk the earth to be flat, a general consensus certainly doesn't make it so.
