What is Western Art? An Easy Understanding…?

I have been searching this question for along time and cant seem to get grips on anything apart from wikipedia, which is just confusing…
Bassically what is it??? and how is it different to Aboriginal art…

western art basically stems from the Greek and Roman tradition. So, Greece, Rome, then Byzantium, then the Middle Ages – in WESTERN EUROPE ONLY – then the Renaissance, then modern times, also in WESTERN EUROPE and also by then in AMERICA. it is the art, generally, of white people, especially men, who live in these times and places. Aboriginal Art is either the art of the indigenous Australian population or of any indigenous population, usually apart from the peoples of WESTERN EUROPE.
